ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
When I was in high school, I signed up for web-design and graphic-design classes. Both had chapters about digital photography and photoshop. I was immediately drawn to it and was naturally gifted at it. It was one of those hobbies that I got soo good at that people started hiring me for it. Not to brag but I’m so good at it that other talented wedding photographers hire me to edit their work. I can’t say names, but there are two NFL weddings out there (that I did not photograph) that I had the privilege of editing.
Something else I love about weddings is how in a world of billions, these two people finding each other had astronomical odds of doing so yet they did; it’s something worth celebrating and I’m lucky to be the one to document it.
Rosie, the Basset Hound
This is my office manager Rosita, my beloved, slow-walking, grass-sniffing basset hound, the only one that can make me take a break from editing and go outside. She is almost 10 and thinks she’s the main character in my life. Before I had Rosie, I used to volunteer at basset hound festivals, and to this day my Instagram feed is 90% long-eared dogs living their best lives.
Outside of photography,
I’m a music lover who plays guitar all the time and has a pedal collection to brag about. Playing in a rock band was the highlight of my 20’s, I even played on a Warped Tour stage in 2008.
I run 5Ks sometimes, I like to cycle through my comfort shows (The Office, King of the Hill, Mad Men, True Detective, and South Park). And I listen to podcasts when I edit because people with interesting lives fascinate me.
